Interpersonal Psychotherapy Group
These on going group sessions bring people together to offer one another mutual support around many life issues. In group therapy, many helping relationships are created and many types of interactions occur. A primary goal is to gain awareness of how you relate with others in the group and to understand how these patterns reflect in your life. Attention will be paid to feelings, thoughts, and experiences that arise and occur in the group, and there will be opportunities to explore and articulate the meaning of these behaviors. Each group member brings his or her own struggles, strengths, and goals for future growth. The role of the group leaders is to offer support and challenge, to help facilitate interaction between members, and to help the group to understand both individuals and group process as they unfold.
Monday nights, 6:30-7:50 pm
