Dr. Faye Weems Singleton LMFT, ThD, MDiv

I believe that counseling should be a safe and nurturing space that is built upon trust, empathy and non-judgment. I treat each person as unique individuals, worthy of unconditional acceptance regardless of their personal circumstances, beliefs and struggles.

I provide relationship, premarital, and marriage counseling. Some of the major issues addressed include communication skills, trust, infidelity, parenting, finances, sex, abuse, and differing belief systems.

My Story

I hold Th.D. (Doctor of Theology) in Pastoral Counseling at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. My dissertation was on Attachment Styles and Relationships and my research, background and hours of counseling have provided me with the skills to assist both individuals and couples. Although my primary focus has been the African American families, I have extensive training and counseling experience, helping people from diverse ethnic, racial, religious and sexual backgrounds.

If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, feelings of worthlessness, difficulty controlling your anger, unable to concentrate, and/or having relationship issues, let's determine if we would be a good "fit" to work towards your healing. I believe that counseling should be a safe and nurturing space that is built upon trust, empathy, and non-judgment. I treat each person as a unique individual, who is worthy of unconditional acceptance, regardless of their personal circumstances, beliefs and struggles.

The success of my practice is grounded in my ability to effectively counsel and assist persons of diverse races, cultures, religions, sexual identities and beliefs. It is my desire to come alongside, challenge and encourage all of my clients to find emotional, physical and spiritual healing.
