My Story
I was born and raised in South Korea and journeyed to the U.S. in my 20's to pursue my academic dreams. With over 10 years of experience as a therapist, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals through various challenges. In therapy, my goal is to provide a safe space where you can listen to your own feelings and needs, clarify your core values, create better decision-making, and establish boundaries that honor your well-being. I utilize evidence-based practices to help clients achieve their goals, while also integrating principles of non-violent communication and mindfulness.
I advocate for cultivating inner peace, grounding, and self-compassion without judging, especially when navigating emotional difficulties. My hope is when you leave our sessions, you can breathe with a sense of freedom, balance, and hope, empowered you to navigate life's challenges with resilience and positivity.
