I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and hold a psychologist license from Illinois and Ohio. I am an Associate Professor of Psychology specializing in teaching mental health problems and treatment at Georgia Gwinnett College. I have provided counseling therapy for individuals, couples, and families for the last 20 years. I primarily work with depression, anxiety,
family and marital and relationship issues.

My Story
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and my passion for advancing academic study led me to move to the USA and continue to pursue educational and clinical work in psychology.
I earned an M.A. in Counseling from the University of Illinois. I obtained a Ph.D. in Counseling psychology at the University of Akron, Ohio. I have provided a clinical practice working with individuals, couples, and families for nearly 20 years.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to helping and empowering people with various mental health issues in their healing journey. I specialized in depression, anxiety, stress management, and couple and family issues. I also teach psychology classes at Georgia Gwinnett College as an associate professor and
help college students interested in multiple psychological problems. I provided counseling
therapy both in English and Korean.
